Linen and towels are extra in all of our apartments apart from Chalet Hotel Yeti and Village Montana. Linen is 25 euro per double set per week, and 22 per single set per week, and towels are 10 euro. A bathmat and tea towel are 6 euro. These can be hired from our agency in resort and paid for an arrival in resort or you may bring your own.

Lift passes can either be bought online or in resort. Prices vary depending on whether you buy an all-area Espace Killy lift pass or one that just covers Tignes. An Espace Killy lift pass gives you free entry into the swimming pool at Le Lagon in Le Lac. If you are a beginner, you won't need a lift pass for at least the first day as you will be using the free lifts on the nursery slopes. A damage deposit will be taken on your apartment when you check in and adults must pay a tourist tax of between 0.99 and 2.48 euro per adult per day depending on the size of the apartment.

We take a 40% deposit at the time of booking and full payment is taken 15 weeks before departure. We quote in euros and payment is taken in sterling based on the post office exchange rate on the day of booking. If you have a euro account we are also able to take payment in euros. Payment is taken by bank transfer or a cheque in sterling.

Grenoble, Lyons and Geneva are all around 3 hours from Tignes. Lyons and Geneva have more frequent flights and Geneva tends to be slightly more expensive. Chambery is a smaller airport and is around 2 hours from Tignes.

You can book parking in resort directly through us either in Lavachet, Val Claret or Le Lac. Current prices for a standard space are 99 euros per week (2022/23 season) and 110 euros if you require extra headroom.

Without stops the drive from Calais to Tignes is around 9 hours. Allow up to 12 hours if you want to include stops.

It is compulsory to have either winter tyres or all-weather tyres, or at least 2 snow chains/socks from 31 November to 31 March when travelling in mountainous regions in France following a law introduced in November 2021.

Most of our apartments do not have a washing machine but there is a laundrette in Val Claret, Le Lac and Lavachet.

Most of our apartments do not have free Wifi. We usually buy extra data or a data bundle when we are staying in our apartment or you can hire a Wifi box from our agency in resort. The cost is around 39 euros per week with a limit of 50GB per week.
